Using pulse oxometry to monitor obstructive sleep apnoea

A piece on the UK’s Royal College of Nursing website describes an interesting use for home-based pulse oxometry: measuring obstructive sleep apnoea, particularly in children, where other forms of hospital-based monitoring are particularly disturbing and produce atypical results: Home monitoring means more reliable results and more comfortable patients.
