Yorkshire Post campaigns for telecare (UK)

It’s election campaign time in the UK, and to see the local paper The Yorkshire Post come down heavily in favour of more telecare in the care options for older people is a welcome development. It shows that telecare (in the UK’s lifestyle monitoring sense of the word) has come a long way in media awareness in the past few years. “While many elderly people are forced to sell their homes to pay for residential care, new systems being introduced in Yorkshire mean others are able to stay in their homes.” Yorkshire Post Manifesto: Care for the elderly. [How coincidental is it that Yorkshire is the home county of Tunstall?]
