The UK’s Telecare Services Association (TSA) has launched a tender process for a company/organisation/consultancy to complete work on the Teleheath Code of Practice and to integrate it with the existing Telecare Code of Practice. The tender documents (.zip file) say it is an open process but before prospective bidders work on a bid it might be worthwhile to confirm that being a TSA member is not a precondition. Closing date is Monday 16 April 2012.

Surely the TSA will have learnt some lessons from the fiasco surrounding their [Rest of comment moderated…Editor Steve…It should be reasonable to assume that as the TSA is conducting an open tender then it will ensure that it is seen to be unbiased in its selection.]
