Belfast-based Intelesens has launched a new “wi-fi enabled, wearable, non-invasive, wireless monitor” that measures and transmits heart and respiration rate trends, cardiac events and records ‘full disclosure’ ECG. It is called Zensor [one feels it should be ‘Zensor!’] and was shown last week at Boston’s Bio conference. Its next outing is scheduled for Medica in Dusseldorf in November.
Zensor is equipped with full ECG viewing software and access to Intelesens’s CE approved Canberra software system. Event and level alerts can be set, and event data viewed, by the clinician using a simple web interface.
