Humana Cares, Trapollo partner for major pilot (US)

Insurance giant Humana, through its home care arm Humana Cares, is piloting what is dubbed a ‘complete service offering’ from Trapollo, including installing a variety of telehealth devices and integration with Humana’s care management and data collection systems for CHF patients. What is different than the usual pilot is the sheer size–1,600 (and not in the VA). The devices are linked to Care Innovations’ Health Guide, which has added two-way video since the Intel days, and the BP and weight scale are A&D’s. What is interesting is that it started in January 2011 but hasn’t been publicized till now. Release.
