Capital Connection ’11, being held at the JW Marriott in Washington DC this week (12-13 May) is, according to its organizer the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), ‘one of the nation’s premier venture and private equity conferences’ with an emphasis on ‘earlier-stage high performance companies’. Certainly with 800 attendees it is large. Unfortunately it’s closed to presentations from companies (last month), but if you have funding, or want to scope out the conference…In healthcare and related presenting are: AFrame Digital, Everbridge (emergency notification), Healthcare Interactive (dementia care training), Ozmosis (healthcare enterprise software) and WellAWARE Systems.
