The King’s Fund-managed Whole System Demonstrator Action Network (WSDAN) website will close down on 18 November 2011. After that date visitors will be redirected to the King’s Fund website’s new telehealth and telecare area. It will be there that the evidence database can continue to be accessed and, for a starter, there is a new report to download which examines the experiences of the WSDAN’s twelve member sites in implementing telehealth and telecare: Perspectives on telehealth and telecare.

Interesting that the report Perspectives on telehealth and telecare mentions systems but not people. It is concerned with meeting service needs but not service users needs. This appears to be a radical change in perspective to me.
