FCC issues with health IT

In addition to the FDA, mobile health and health IT in the US face another regulatory agency, the FCC. In Mike Kirkwood’s interview with Dr. Mohit Kaushal, health care director for the National Broadband Taskforce presenting at the mHealth Initiative conference, the main issues concern connectivity between systems, reimbursement, building infrastructure to meet increased demand and spectrum reallocation.  The interestingly named ReadWriteCloud, sponsored by Intel and VMware.
