Apply ECG to your iPad/iPhone

AliveCor, which gained notice for its clinical-quality ECG iPhone case/app introduction at CES in January [TA 11 Jan], dispenses with the case and puts the ECG sensors in a card that Velcros directly onto your iPhone or iPad. The iCard is smaller than a business card and thin in profile. Once sensor and app are on the iPad/Phone, the ECG reading is available directly on the screen, even through fabric. Both devices are applying for FDA 510(k) clearance later this year. Dr. David Albert demos it for you on YouTube (4:22). MedGadget article.
