the National Three Peaks Challenge. It comprises 26 miles of walking, more than 10,000 feet of ascent, and 500 miles of driving between Ben Nevis, Scafell Pyke and Snowdon (the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales) within 24 hours. What’s more, he was still recovering from a serious leg injury sustained in training a month ago. He made it back to base with only one minute to go – in just 23 hours and 59 minutes. Our congratulations to him on this incomprehensible – but amazing – achievement.
[Disclosure: Alertacall has advertised on Telecare Aware]
I am not sure it is the most gruelling – but it was gruelling enough …
Ha! It was pretty tough for me if I am honest – I am not exactly svelte – but it still wasn’t a fraction as difficult as trying to get a telecare company going these last few years
