Ruth Ormsby, a senior executive in Accenture’s Public Sector operation is gearing up to make the consultancy’s contribution to the 3ML initiative. She is full of good ideas that NHS doctors will no doubt be falling over themselves to adopt. Enjoy them as much as Editor Steve did, here.
By the way, Accenture will be forever associated with the failure of the multi-billion NHS National Programme for IT (NPfIT) and remembered for its withdrawal from it in 2006 (Guardian item) which cost it dear. Accenture is now looking to make big bucks in ‘helping’ GPs in their new NHS commissioning role. Scary PDF download.
Wow what original ideas – surely no-one has ever thought of those before?
