Home-based telehealth can transform global healthcare delivery, but needs 'buy in': RAND Corporation study

A new RAND Corporation study confirms what we in the industry pretty much know: ‘the center cannot hold’ for healthcare systems globally, but the shift from hospitals or other institutional settings to the home and the integration of telehealth, much less the ‘patient-centered home’ model, is stumbling for a wide number of reasons. Unlike most studies, this includes two Asian giants: China and Singapore, along with France, Germany, the UK, and the United States.
