NHS North Yorkshire and York telehealth website launched

An excellent website has just been launched by NHS North Yorkshire and York (whose precipitous purchase of a large amount of equipment came in for a bit of stick from Telecare Aware back in October) but, fair’s fair, the site they have come up with is clear, smart, talks directly to patients about others’ experiences and will be a particularly useful resource for NYY’s local professional staff. My instinct [editor Steve] is that its patient focus will make it a good general ambassador for the cause of telehealth uptake. And yes, it is ‘telehealth’, as in remote monitoring of patients.
