MedApps Receives Certifications to Market in Europe and Canada

Scottsdale, Arizona – December 29, 2009 – MedApps, Inc. a leading innovator in Mobile Wireless Remote Patient Monitoring announced today that it has successfully completed a thorough assessment of its Quality Management System (QMS) and received ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the independent regulatory body that evaluates products and sets safety standards throughout the world.
ISO 13485:2003 is an International standard for quality systems supporting the design, development and manufacturing of medical devices. MedApps has subsequently received the CE Mark certification and CMDCAS approval, allowing its products to be marketed throughout Europe and Canada.
