Unlike in the US where there are thousands of companies pushing their PERS or ‘medical alerts’ online, it is taking the growing scarcity of council funding to push telecare service providers in the direction of direct sales on line. We don’t (often) comment on new sites, but this one, from Weaver Vale Housing Trust’s Careline merits a mention. The main reason is that it is unpretentious and un-hyped and its product/service packages are easy to explore through the left sidebar menu – but it’s a pity that the menu collapses when a link is clicked. One of the nice touches are the language flag links at the top which take you to a page which explains how to use Google Translate. Take a look: Weaver Vale Careline.
