UK Government's spending review cuts: Surfing the publicity wave

From time to time this editor (Steve) has bemoaned the failure of telecare and telehealth suppliers and services in the UK to take advantage of the opportunity of news events (such as the spending review cuts this week) to promote their cause. If – as with physical surfing – they get the balance right, they can also help themselves along the way without putting readers off. So I’m pleased to say that Telehealth Solutions, in their press release yesterday have got it about right: timing, message and effort. I hope it gets picked up by the wider media. Telehealth could save NHS more than £70 million in two years.
