Most employee wellness programs considered ineffective: survey (US)

wellness programs hit hard times with the economy, with questions about their effectiveness and they are an easy ‘extra’ to cut.  This survey commissioned by RedBrick Health, an independent wellness program provider, confirms the low opinion of employers–67% of corporate decision makers surveyed believe these programs are ‘not’ or ‘only slightly’ effective at producing health change, and year to year they sustain only 20% rates of engagement.  How to improve?  Set program goals, reward employees and hire an independent primary vendor (like RedBrick–not a surprise).  RedBrick release with survey link.
