Norad directs $9.9 million to mHealth (Norway)

Norway’s Norad (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) has made a (US) $9.9 million commitment to developing mobile technologies to support women’s and children’s health. This supports the mHealth Alliance’s management of the Innovation Working Group (IWG)’s catalytic grant competitions for maternal, newborn, and child mobile health (mHealth) programs. This announcement is well timed for this Thursday’s International Women’s Day. Other ‘catalytic grants’ are active in Ghana, India and Pakistan. Release
