Launched at the TSA conference last week, a new product from Halliday James Ltd. Called the EASE bracelet, it has some features that make it more interesting than the average GPS tracking device. For example, it can link to a mobile base station (a ‘Travel Companion’) when the person is outside their pre-defined area, so that alerts are not triggered unless the person wanders away from where the mobile base station is – with a relative or at a day centre, for example.
