Mood Tracker wins 'Apps for the Army' competition (US)

Winning the Apps for the Army (A4A) competition in the category of ‘morale, welfare and recreation’ is the T2 MoodTracker, developed by the National Center for Telehealth and Technology (T2). A service member can track their moods on a smartphone touch screen using a visual analogue scale–choosing a point on a color continuum to reflect their current emotions, such as feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety or stress. The application also has the capacity to store information which is helpful for discussions with mental health providers. DoD’s Armed with Science This editor [Donna] hopes to have more on mood charting applications such as FindingOptimism.com shortly.
