Dave Cronin, Director of Interaction Design at SmartDesign in San Francisco, tells us that home health RPM has an image problem similar to that of 1990s era PCs but worse: boring beige boxes and devices which are clonky and hard to use, with all the friendliness of a pager (his terminology).
