ECCH changes its name – to CCHSC (N. Ireland)

From TANN: Ireland – The European Centre for Connected Health (ECCH), established ‘to promote improvements in patient care through the use of technology, and to fast track new products and innovation in the Health and Social Care system in Northern Ireland’ and which managed the Remote Telemonitoring Tender [notoriously prolonged – search Telecare Aware for ECCH. Ed. Steve] for Northern Ireland (RTNI), has been renamed as ‘The Centre for Connected Health and Social Care’. The renaming of the Centre corresponds with the signing of the Connected Health and Prosperity Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) and Invest Northern Ireland (sponsored by the Department for Enterprise, Trade and Investment). Read more at the website of the Public Health Agency.
