Telehealth supplier Docobo is extending its field of interest into an area not normally – or should that be ‘yet’? – associated with telehealth, but its new wound management system is clearly an extension of the mHealth approach. It does, though, fit neatly with Docobo’s risk stratification service, recently mentioned here. Wound management is a costly and unpleasant problem in search of a better solution and it is estimated that 200,000 people in the UK have a chronic wound at any one time.
