Diversinet's MobiSecure in $5 million distribution deal; expands to Canada

Diversinet, which just received a five-year contract to expand the US Army’s mCare telehealth outreach program for wounded warriors using its MobiSecure Health platform [TA 8 Nov], has entered into a five-year, $5 million agreement with Canada-based Mihealth Global Systems for exclusive distribution of MobiSecure to Canadian health providers as well as nonexclusive distribution to the rest of the world, excluding the US. Mihealth developed its own application using MobiSecure which successfully piloted in Canada, and now is going into production. Dr. Wendy Graham, who led the pilot at Blue Sky Family Health in Ontario, is president of Mihealth Global Systems.
