ATA 'first call': Bosch Health Buddy/VitelCare

The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) annual meeting starts this Sunday, and the first announcement in our mailbox is from Bosch Healthcare.  What’s new: two upgrades for its Health Buddy telehealth system–a wireless modem setup (current models communicate through landline) and a custom messaging feature which allows care providers to send customized notifications to a single patient or group of patients.  ViTelCare–a name not seen much since Bosch’s acquisition of ViTel Net last year, is being reintroduced via the T400 home health monitor for post-acute monitoring of patient vital signs and symptoms by home health agencies and similar via landline or broadband.  The release also notes their three presentations at ATA.
