Yoritex: new mhealth hub device (Canada)

Yoritex is a Toronto-based – but clearly international in composition – company that has produced a hub device that plugs into a Blackberry or Android smartphone and into which many other devices can be connected. The company is aiming to bring the device, called the YoriMed HUB, to market in 2012 and what looks like an early version can be seen being demonstrated in a YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0raQ0rmL2I It does not appear to be Continua Alliance certified and there is no information on its FDA approval status. You can find more details of the device and what it can connect to if you take the time to search through the company’s flash (grr…) website. Or go straight for the PDF factsheet.
