WSD start date – just for the record

When you read the slew of announcements trumpeting the Whole System Demonstrator Programme (WSD) results you will often find references to it as having started in May 2008. This is Department of Health media management, of course. Telecare Aware readers with long memories will remember that the intention to set up the WSD was announced in 2006 and it took two years of faffing about before it got off the ground.
