In another example of the consumerisation of telecare, American Medical Alert Corp and Walgreen have agreed a 2008 marketing strategy for the Walgreen’s Ready Response Medical Alert program. Plans include the launch of a product specific website, a media campaign and interactive store signage that will be tested at select stores. Launched earlier this month, the new website, www.walgreensreadyresponse.com, offers many of the same key features as the previous site; with a more user-friendly layout as well an updated look and expanded product description.
