Sign of the times…Tesco, the UK’s giant supermarket chain is to roll out free Wi-Fi in its stores with the predoninant aim of communicating with customers as they push their trolleys around. Editor Steve has also seen what appear to be some very good smartphone offers in his local Tesco but the young lady handing out information just looked straight past as he walked in…perhaps they should stop making ageist assumptions and think about making an effort to get smartphones into the hands of their older customers.
