US Haiti earthquake survivor aided by iPhone medical app

A dramatic story of a Haiti earthquake survivor using an iPhone medical application (unnamed) to self-diagnose and treat himself.  Trapped in an elevator shaft at the devastated Hotel Montana, film producer Dan Woolley used his camera light to see/confirm his leg and head wounds, and used the information in the app to treat his injuries and also to recognize shock.  He was rescued after 65 hours and is now recuperating in the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.  WTVJ Miami story and videos.
