On Wednesday 25th October 2006, North Yorkshire County Council, Adult and Community Services, are pleased to offer the largest telecare event in the country. There is no charge to attendees from North Yorkshire, but places must be booked in advance. People who will benefit from attending this one day conference include:
• All adult and community services staff, general managers, area managers, operational and team managers, care managers/officers, occupational therapists, sensory workers, etc.
• Chief executives, managers of health trusts and commissioners of older people services
• Private, public and voluntary organisations keen to learn more about supporting older or vulnerable people in the community
• Supporting People staff, housing managers, wardens and health staff
• Members of the general public wanting to know more about telecare technologies and the benefits they can bring
The event will take place on Wednesday 25th October, 2006 from 9.30am to 5pm at the Pavilions of Harrogate, Great Yorkshire Showground.
