Qualcomm keynoting at mHealth Summit

Being out of the West Wireless Health Institute (WWHI) [TA 22 April] seemingly has not diminished Qualcomm’s commitment to mHealth. Announced on Tuesday, the lead keynote speaker of this winter’s mHealth Summit will be Qualcomm CEO Dr. Paul Jacobs. Qualcomm’s involvement this year is even more extensive than 2010: not only a lead sponsorship but also an expanded Wireless Health Pavilion to feature 32 wireless health exhibits as well as a lounge area to provide space for meetings and encourage networking. It’s also a larger mHealth Summit. Having outgrown Washington D.C.’s downtown convention center, the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) moved it to the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Other partners: the NIH, the mHealth Alliance and (new) HIMSS. Release. Website.
