iStethoscope now a controversial viral hit

iStethoscope, the iPhone app developed by Peter Bentley at University College London, which Steve reported on back in December [59p stethoscope on iPhone proves a hit] as creating a worldwide sensation among heart specialists according to the Independent, has gone viral, with fresh mentions in the Telegraph and a US website for media types, Media Bistro, just in the past two weeks.  The latter mourns the loss of the free (ad supported) version for the 99 cent app.  Neil Versel serves up the situation to date in FierceMobileHealthcare along with three letters of caution–FDA.
