World’s First iPhone App for Doctor-Patient Consults from Consult A Doctor (25 April)

This does seem a bit unbelievable with iPhone/iPad apps proliferating, but Consult A Doctor will be previewing what they claim to be the very first iPhone app that enables 24/7 patient consults with their national network of doctors. Demonstrations at their booth #1601 29 April – 1 May at the Exhibit Hall. Release.


Philips and Vidyo telemedicine partnership for ICUs

Seems like a logical fit with Vidyo’s teleconferencing capabilities and Philips eICU integrated data and care coordination system. However the Vidyo executive quoted goes on about Philips’ strength in home patient monitoring, which other than Lifeline and Auto-Alert in the US, is a leap. Health 2.0 News
