Academy for 'healthcare transformers' gets its StartUp

StartUp Health, profiled by us at Health 2.0 NYC, announced the inaugural class (of a projected four this year) of its Academy for Health and Wellness Entrepreneurship. Ten “healthcare transformers,” already with businesses, will undergo “a structured 3-year curriculum and peer networks designed to help navigate the unique challenges of building a transformative growth business in healthcare.” Among the ten is Veer Gidwaney of DailyFeats, which previewed at a Health 2.0 NYC meeting over a year ago. Partnering with StartUp Health are AT&T and the California HealthCare Foundation. Thinking about applying? StartUp Health is still reviewing applications. Release, StartUp Health website.
