Consumer-usable ultrasound scanning devices for telehealth (like GE’s Vscan, with an $8000 price) have arrived–but that doesn’t mean they haven’t stirred up a lot of controversy.  Brian Dolan in Mobihealthnews has taken a bit of unwarranted heat just by writing about it.  Look at the comments (plus West Wireless’ Dr. Eric Topol, whose demonstration at CES helped to kick start it) and decide for yourself how ‘moronic, idiotic, dangerous and irresponsible’ consumer ultrasound may be.  Mobihealthnews
