Tunstall's local paper reveals more on NI contract

The Yorkshire Post yesterday ran a ‘local company does well’ story on Tunstall’s success in the Northern Ireland Remote Monitoring Service tender. It also reports that the Leeds office of law firm DLA Piper advised ECCH on the procurement. You would think that DLA Piper’s “lead partner and healthcare specialist” Mark Vipan would want to keep quiet about the association with that particular procurement fiasco. And as for the Belfast-based European Centre for Connected Health (ECCH) which ran the tender and which had the whole of the EU to choose from, finding a law firm based in Yorkshire to advise it…well, it’s another one for the ‘interesting coincidences’ file. Tunstall secures major telehealth contract.
