Two intersections: 'Is an online telemedicine service legal?'

While this was authored by someone in legal practice for primarily alternative medicine (or, as the writer puts it, ‘the intersection of law, business, health and spirituality’), it’s an interesting read (for the US) on how 19th century law is controlling 21st century healthcare technology.  Physicians diagnosing patients across state lines run afoul of state medical board regulation–right into another busy intersection of eight different areas of law including malpractice liability.  State boards do permit hospitals to have radiology x-rays read in other countries (India and Philippines being very popular) but telemedicine practice is a bit closer to home.  Michael H.
