Cloud computing gives Taiwanese telehealth an advantage

“In addition to lighting, TV, water, electricity, telephone and internet, health should be a standard feature of every household before long.” So finishes the four-and-a-half minute video about telehealth developments and aspirations in Taiwan with, of course, their eye of the export market. And Taiwan’s advantage is, apparently, its strength in cloud computing… For terminology-watchers it is interesting to note the exclusive use of ‘telecare’ to refer to the health monitoring.
