Rural telehealth expansion in Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $980,000 to to establish the Heartland Telehealth Resource Center to assist physicians in treating rural patients in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.  The Center is a joint operation of the University of Kansas Medical Center, The University of Missouri School of Medicine’s Missouri Telehealth Network and the University of Oklahoma Center for Telemedicine.  iHealthBeat, Kansas City Business Journal.
