We are looking for more contributing editors to join those who have volunteered already for the following sites: France and Italy (posting in French and Italian), Canada (English and/or French – a person with networks in eastern Canada, perhaps), Rising Countries (to keep an eye out for off-mainstream developments). We have enough covering Australia, England and Wales, but would like to start a Scotland site…also sites for individual states in the US. You may struggle to get anyone to take this on in Scotland. The Scottish Government’s National Telecare Programme comes to an end 31.3.11. Most Telecare leads like myself, are in post on temporary contracts funded by the programme, so there is a great deal of uncertainty as to whether or not we will be in post for very much longer! Highly concerning on a personal basis but even more so in terms of losing the momentum in the mainstreaming of Telecare services.
