iRobot eyes up care market

Just a little late for the Robots in care: roundup item last month, iRobot’s CEO and co-founder Colin Angle muses on the potential for care robots. The thrust of it bears out what we indicated in the introduction to the roundup – that these developments are “driven by the idea that the only way to cope with the ‘scary forthcoming crisis’ of older people numbers is to create robots to look after them.
