NHS Choices (an NHS Direct spin-off, I think, let me know if I’m mistaken) is a site providing a huge range of advice on health and social care topics. Here’s the page that deals with assistive technology and telecare and telehealth. The language is just about right, I think. Simple but not patronising.

Getting the right stuff but the wrong page!!!
I agree about the language but the detail is not there. Also it is interesting if you use the site search box in the top left of the page and use a simple search term ‘telecare’ it produces no results. A little concerning as the page is about telecare and AT.

I found the search box in the top right hand side of the page and when i searched for telecare i got 7 results, entry 3 being the page referred to.
