EarlySense hospital bed sensors piloting in Massachusetts

A new sensor-based system for tracking patient respiration and heart rate is being tested at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. Developed by Tel Aviv-based EarlySense, the 30 pilot units will also provide clinical staff with data-driven charts and graphs. The goal is to reduce the annoying every-four-hours visit for vital signs checking as well as providing useful trending data which can help to anticipate further problems. EarlySense is also being lured to Waltham, Massachusetts not only for this test but also by the first-class opportunities with healthcare institutions and in healthcare technology.
