Pointer to the future item alert:  We’ve had a backpack-sized brain scanner [TA 19 Jan], now here’s where the sensors read your mind. At TEDGlobal 2010 earlier this month, a researcher named Tan Le developed for her company, Emotiv Systems, a headset costing only a few hundred dollars that can detect controllable brainwave changes to control the motion of virtual objects and electronics using visualization.
