A short report in Healthcare Republic points to new research that casts its net wide on the cost of COPD to the economy. This could ‘improve’ the basis for telehealth business cases if it were not for the perennial problem that cost borne in one sector has benefits in another. COPD costs the UK £1.2bn a year.
