We haven’t heard much lately from Health Buddy, one of the early telehealth providers acquired by Robert Bosch Healthcare. Their most recent news, which surprisingly hasn’t received much notice, is their large-scale program for up to 6,600 Medicare beneficiaries in the Bronx, New York. The care management and monitoring is being provided by a subsidiary of Montefiore Medical Center, CMO-The Care Management Company. Funding is through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as part of their Care Management for High-Cost Beneficiaries Demonstration. According to the release, this is the first large-scale test in a diverse urban environment. Release.
