Adoption and diffusion of technology for older adults

The latest double edition of the journal Ageing International has been ‘guest edited’ by The Center for Technology and Aging and its theme is ‘Adoption and diffusion of technology for older adults in home and community-based settings’ so it has a number of articles that will be interesting to readers of Telecare Aware. The first issue “presents conceptual frameworks that explore technology adoption and diffusion, as well as overview articles that discuss technology applications, usage, and efficacy. The second issue covers specific applications of technology and research briefs.” The content is being published online ahead of physical publication in 2011 and access to most of it is paid-for, apart from an article on Reducing Adverse Self-Medication and one on Falls Risk Assessment.
