Issues influencing the roll-out of the WSD pilots

At the WSDAN event 22 January (Telecare Aware report), Tim Ellis, Department of Health, and Martin Scarfe, Newham, reported on the progress of scaling-up the implementation of telehealth and telecare. They reported that significant progress has been made across the three Whole System Demonsrator (WSD) pilots with over 650 individuals now using the new technologies. The process has thrown up a number of unexpected challenges, listed in this WSDAN article. See too, at the bottom of the article, the link to download the presentation from the session.
