PTG funding in sharp perspective: telecare in Newham to hit the bigtime?

Report from London Borough of Newham Mayoral meeting 15 June 2006 which considered the decision to invest £3.6m this year and next with the intention of seriously mainstreaming telecare services. This puts the Prevetive Technology Grant funding (Newham’s share was just £391,000) into perspective. Three cheers for the Mayor, although the decision still has to be ratified.
